Tablet Magazine and Content Hub

Teaming up with the Conde Nast’s WIRED publishing group, Original9 created the second edition of “The Connective” — a branded content initiative for Cisco focused on the future of the Internet of Things. Original9 led the editorial strategy and content creation for a 25-story, interactive tablet magazine as well as a microsite with follow-on blog content.

The tablet magazine was distributed to the entire WIRED subscriber base of 3 million readers and was the top-performing hub launched on — the time spent with the content was nearly double the average of other premium interactive ads and 4.6 times that of static ads in WIRED’s tablet edition. The Connective 2.0 received the 2013 Adweek Project Isaac Award and was named a 2015 Honoree for “Best User Interface” in the Mobile Sites and Apps category at The Webby Awards.
